iRidium Awards 2021 Project Competition Starts!

We are glad to inform you that after a forced pause we start the Seventh project competition iRidium Awards 2021! We have kept the traditional nominations but participation has become simpler – if you can’t make a video, send us photos!

Nominations

Home automation

Commercial automation

  • smart offices,
  • hotels,
  • hospitals,
  • conference halls,
  • meeting rooms,
  • classrooms, etc.

 
Special solutions

  • yachts,
  • caravans,
  • trucks, etc.

 

There will be only 1 winner in each nomination. A project with a video from any nomination can get the Grand Prix of iRidium Awards 2021*.

* iRidium mobile team can single out any project that we unanimously liked, but that did not become a leader in any nomination.

How to participate

Make a video
of your project and upload it to You Tube with #iRidiummobile hashtag in the title and by iRidium label in the video		 or Make photos
of your project and interface screenshots

Fill in this entry form till February 28, 2021.

IMPORTANT: requirements to the video and photos!

Technical requirements to the video:

  • Duration: no more than 5 minutes.
  • Resolution: 1280 x 720 (HD), 1920×1080 (Full HD).
  • File format: mp4, link to YouTube.

What to show in the video:

  • object from the outside;
  • object interior; 
  • stand with automation equipment;
  • interface to control systems (climate, light, blinds. cameras, etc., we recommend showing rare functions if there are any);
  • process of controlling equipment.

What to write in the subtitles: 

  • name and type of project;
  • list of functions;
  • used equipment;
  • author of the project (company name or full name of a freelance integrator).

Technical requirements to photos and screenshots:

  • Total number of photos: no less than 10
  • Resolution: no less than 150 dpi.
  • Size: no less than 1 Mb. 
  • File format: JPEG, PNG

What to show in the photos:

  • object from the outside (1-2 photos);
  • object interior (5-10 photos depending on the size of your object);
  • location of a control panel (1-2 photos with surroundings, 1-2 close-ups of panels);
  • stand with automation equipment (2-3 photos);
  • control interface (5-10 screenshots depending on the size of your object).

You are responsible for ensuring that any use of video, imagery or music meets copyright and fair-use laws.

By submitting a video to the contest, you grant iRidium mobile a royalty-free, irrevocable right to reproduce, publish distribute, perform, display, create derivative works of the submission, or otherwise use the work for commercial purposes, and authorize others to do so.
